PNSG invites your input on newcomer settlement and integartion issues PDF Print E-mail
 

As part of the development of a coordinated and collaborative strategy for the integration of newcomers, PNSG is currently conducting a series of community consultations with various stakeholders. The purpose of the PNSG community consultations is to identify best practices for the effective settlement and integration of newcomers in the Region of Peel.

PNSG is inviting you to provide your opinion and comments on the questions below:

  • Is the present system of supports and services conducive to the effective and efficient integration of newcomers?
  • What mechanisms or processes need to be in place for the settlement and integration process to work well?
  • Are local multi-service/cross-sectoral partnerships a possible approach to a coordinated and comprehensive response to the settlement and integration needs of newcomers in the Region of Peel?  
  • What are the benefits and challenges of creating local multi-service/cross-sectoral partnerships?
  • What role can PNSG play in the development and implementation of a multi-service/cross-sectoral partnerships strategy for the settlement and integration of newcomers in the Region of Peel?
  • What role you/your agency can play in the development and implementation of multi-service/cross-sectoral partnerships?
